Compliance and Optimisation

Transport, Logistics and Customs

The Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) status exists since 1st January 2008. It simplifies the processes of companies involved in the international supply chain while strengthening the security of trade in goods.

This European certification is internationally recognized. It is a true key to international trade.

Becoming an AEO operator

Archilog helps its customers to obtain the AEO approval granted by the customs administration for 3 years. The company must pass a thorough, real examination, based on precise protocols and numerous control points in order to get the AEO status. The AEO status guarantees the company a real return on investment thanks to a significant simplification of its customs formalities.

Becoming an AEO operator requires a double expertise: Customs and Safety.
This global expertise allows Archilog to offer the right approach to its customers and to succeed.

Why being AEO?

The AEO status is not mandatory but highly recommended within the international supply chain.

AEO benefits

Fewer physical and documentary controls

AEO Follow-up Audit

The Authorised Economic Operator status is checked by the Customs at least once every 3 years. We offer a mock certification audit to validate the sustainability of the AEO status and to prepare companies for the intervention of the Customs administration.

Mutual recognition of the Known Consignor approval and the AEO S status

This is an important step forward as it is now possible, under certain conditions, to benefit from an undeniable advantage in international trade.
This recognition agreement applies to both issuance and ongoing monitoring.
